Our company is seeking to recruit ACCA Trainees.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform audit engagements for local and international clients.
• Prepare financial statements based on International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Work closely with supervisors, managers and fellow staff to ensure clients receive the best possible service.
• Manage multiple assignments and be able to work under pressure.

Skills and knowledge:

• Fluency in Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
• Team-worker
• Good knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Methodical and multitasking individual
• Good academic background

Criteria and Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent degree
• Previous experience in auditing and knowledge of Caseware software will be considered an advantage.

Job Description:

The Senior Auditor will perform statutory audits based on International Standards of Auditing and prepare financial statements under International Financial Reporting Standards, and the Companies Act Law of Cyprus. The Senior Auditor will also be required to prepare tax computations and tax forms to be submitted to the tax authorities.

The Senior Auditor will be in direct contact with the firm’s management and will cooperate with other senior and junior staff of the firm.

Required experience and academic background:

• Holder of a professional qualification from ICAEW / ACCA or partly qualified ICAEW / ACCA students still undertaking their exams.
• University graduates in Accounting or Economics from a reputable university.
• Prior experience in auditing and in using the Caseware software.
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages.
• Good knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office applications.
